What does a Funeral Celebrant do?
A celebrant leads a funeral ceremony and as such will:
- Support you from the very first meeting to the end of the service. I have undertaken Grief & Bereavement training to ensure I can help you as much as possible
- Ensure that the wishes of the deceased and family are carried out by listening to want you want and need
- Help with ideas to include in the ceremony
- Help to prepare you with what to expect on the day of the service
- Create the eulogy, with the help of family and friends, ensuring that it is a true representation of theĀ deceased
- Work with your Funeral Director and Funeral service provider behind the scenes
- Make sure that the ceremony runs to the allotted time without it feeling rushed
- Provide you with copies of the ceremony before and after the funeral
